Hello everyone,

I have always developed and managed my systematic trading strategies on MultiCharts.

However, not every broker, proprietary trading firm or trading platform offers direct integration with MultiCharts. Many of the trading environments I wanted to access use MetaTrader 5 for execution.

I did not want to rewrite every trading system in MQL5.

Besides requiring significant additional development and maintenance, rebuilding a strategy in another environment can introduce differences in its logic, data handling and real-time execution.

For this reason, I developed a MultiCharts to MetaTrader 5 Trade Copier.

MultiCharts remains the research, development and signal-generation environment, while MetaTrader 5 becomes the execution layer.

After testing several approaches, this proved to be the most streamlined, fast and efficient solution for my requirements.

Main characteristics:

* MultiCharts and MetaTrader 5 do not need to run on the same machine
* Multiple MT5 terminals can operate on different computers or VPSs
* Only one chart is required on each MT5 terminal
* Multiple strategies, symbols and timeframes can be managed from that single chart
* Each trading model remains separately identifiable and independently managed
* No broker account connection or AutoTrading is required on the MultiCharts side
* Signal transmission and execution are completely automatic
* Manual trading remains possible on the MT5 account without interference

In my live tests, the copier normally takes approximately 100-300 milliseconds to transmit an order to MetaTrader 5.

Running MultiCharts and MT5 on separate VPSs does not make a significant difference when both machines are located in the same geographical area, such as the Chicago area. However, I recommend keeping MultiCharts on the more powerful VPS because it is responsible for running the strategies and generating the signals.

When copying from futures to CFDs, using a low-latency data feed such as Rithmic on MultiCharts may also provide a small timing advantage compared with the corresponding CFD feed.

However, fast execution does not mean identical execution.

The copier transmits the original signal quickly, but final execution will always depend on the destination broker and its trading conditions.

Each strategy should therefore be evaluated according to its average trade, frequency and execution requirements before being replicated.

For context, approximately 80% of my live trading activity is intraday rather than swing. Although this is not an HFT infrastructure, the copier has been successfully used to replicate this activity across multiple MT5 environments.

The execution structure is intentionally designed for linear and controlled operation, without pyramiding or martingale logic.

Each trading model can manage one open position per symbol. If a second independent entry is required, it can be assigned to a separate model. In this way, every strategy remains isolated, separately identifiable and easier to monitor.

This is not a prototype or a theoretical project.

I have personally used this infrastructure live for several months to execute my MultiCharts strategies across Darwinex, FTMO and different CFD brokers.

My public MT5 track records were generated using this infrastructure and document its use under real trading conditions.

Public track records and additional information:

The product is already available and is distributed through a monthly licence:

* EUR 10.99 per month
* One licence is associated with one specific MT5 Account Number
* The MT5 account can be either demo or live
* The licence is linked to the MT5 account, not to the computer or VPS
* A separate licence is required for each additional MT5 account
* A free 10-day demo test is available without a credit card or automatic renewal
* A complete PDF installation guide is included
* Assistance during the initial installation and configuration is included
* Installation tutorials and practical demonstration videos will also be published soon

I am currently looking for feedback from experienced MultiCharts and PowerLanguage users who may be interested in testing the workflow on an MT5 demo account.

This is an execution tool only. It does not provide trading signals or trading strategies.

If you would like additional information or want to activate the free demo, you can contact me at:

Any technical feedback, questions or suggestions from other MultiCharts users would be very welcome.
