Remember it generates price labels automatically! I really love this indicator. A trading friend created an ABC Long indicator for me to complement it. I adapted it to an ABC Short one too. As I only have 2 change quotas this weekend, I tried my very best to combine these three into one. Mission 99% completed and they are now ONE with some minor bugs that I can live with.
2. True Duck Story
I just shared it in one of the anniversary gift threads. Certainly will be nice to win 3 months free DTN/IQFeed data. More important, however, the story has reminded me how lucky I am to uncover Big Mike and You!!
If interested to have a glimpse of the story, please visit the following:
This morning I did a real semi-auto TF trade. To run a strategy in the background (with over 2 months observation on its performance), I'm quite comfy to follow the signal after a quick glimpse on the SMA crossover and MACDBB. It's a profitable trade $75.99 after commission. Unfortunately the strategy's SL got hit. There is NO 100% profitable strategy out there .. at least that's what I believe.
Emotion: My heart does not race as much (almost normal) even the trade went against me $200 at one point. Yet my palms were a little numb after closing the position. A big improvement IMHO. Certainly if I was calmer, I would not close the position that early and could have stayed for another $200 gains. Well, NO ifs and could have .. haha ..
What I did differently? Actually I started having music since yesterday and I sang along too. Sorry that I forgot mentioning the same yesterday.
Note: I am NOT going to do real trades anymore this week. Am extremely thrilled LOL .. enough to pay for the 3-month NJ subscription + 50% of this week's groceries.

I've been working extremely hard this morning .. even I spent over 2 hours on a new thread I uncovered last night .. couldn't stop reading all posts before zozozo after 12:30 am LOL. I even dreamed of the inside/outside/reversal bars .. oooooo
Goal Accomplished: All A or A- trades yet they're not all profitable!! Why? It's the trader (me) who accounted for its execution. Will do better I promise .. smile ..
Note: Since I have started doing occasional real trades, I need to figure out how to have a balanced trading day while continuing my sim-trade practice. Will include this in my weekend review.

I'm extremely thrilled when I uncovered the subject last night. You too!
I learned about some bar patterns last May (home study Futures program) though they're complicated for me then. Jeff has made the three set ups very easy to understand esp the inside and outside bar ones. I hope he won't mind my adding the following to his simple chart:
As some of you know I have been working for the last month on three set ups. I thought I'd take a minute and share the results of this effort. The win rate for these trades is over 90% in the last 30 days.
Once I have the PASwingABC indicator on, I will only add PA labels on an as required basis (since my interpretation often generates more than the system ones). Will not post chart comparison and may post EOD 4-Range chart instead (unless it needs morning and afternoon ones). Let's play it by ear.
Continue enjoying your day. For me, I am going to feed my belly (combo of breakfast and lunch) and laundry etc etc ..
I have been to a lot of trading education rooms, bought and learned a lot of methods, strategies, approaches, styles, bought hundreds of tools, and lost many tens of thousands of dollars, over the last 8 years or more. I can list about 50 of them (kind …
Quoting from Jaguar52's post:
"Those who make it in this are really the loners, the one's out there on the fringes doing their own thing, doing things their own way, at their own pace, using their own brains, making small steady gains, and being patient. If you can accept $50 a day 4 out of 5 days a week as a good day in the beginning, then you have a chance. Eventually after 4 or 5 years, many traders who succeeded came to this point and started to accept consistency over lucky strikes, steady gains with controlled losses over huge gains and huge losses. Many just got off the roller coaster and started to walk one step at a time.
Sounds like you Beth...$50 a day 4 out of 5 days a week
All the best!
Good work!

No wonder I was sneezing earlier! Someone (you) was thinking of me LOL!
My heartfelt thanks for your guidance, support and encouragement all along. Monday (my first real trade) was very very scary (like watching a "horror" movie which I seldom do), got a little better on Tuesday, yesterday was quite smooth, and today I am doing fine. I do not have time to reflect what I went through yet. Will do a more in-depth review (+ an internal dialogue) this weekend.
Note: It's not the trades that worried/scared me as they were based on good set-ups (at least at the entry point). Was it fear of losing $$? It's not the main scary factor as I had and will always have predetermined PT/SL, ie an acceptable cushion to safeguard any unexpected losses. My guess: lack of real-trade experience + my psyche is still haunted by what happened in the past when I lacked of discipline, focus, trading knowledge, ... + all the basic things that one must learn before trading.
I will continue my pursuit to be a Humble trader who will stay focussed and disciplined. Thanks Jungian and everyone for witnessing my growth and occasional hiccups.
