Waited around 30 mins for this entry, even though there is no sign that i will lose this trade , fear still seep in
I could not hold my trade well and gotten out with a 80 ticks profit instead of a minimum 2R of 160 ticks.
trading error ? yes
trade 1 - error , i dont even know why i took this trade
trade 2 - error still , i kinda know the price will go back up however my entry is pretty shitty by
right should be even stop out at 80 ticks however shifted to 120 ticks for stop loss price went back
up and out with a 39 ticks profit.
trade 3/4 - looking back now , have no idea why i took these trades, guess the first 2 loss and the 3rd trade (which should be a total winner) have totally clouded my judgement for the day.
trade 5 - took a long trade , yes FML again , only a 70 ticks profit instead of minimum 2R
noted that MNQ have increase in it total day range and that the movement is getting fast
1st trade - total error , i dont even know why the fxxk i took this trade
2nd trade - preplan , ok just that it din work out , well i can take this loss
3rd trade - hit up to 2R of 160 ticks , out at 80 ticks though
4th trade - short and out at 40 loss , tot i can gain a better entry
5th trade - tot of shorting at day high , but price show sign of coming down, short at this point, did a trail loss
, guess i trail too close and got stop out with 213 ticks profit
1st / 2nd trades - preplan so feel kinda sucky when both dont works
3rd trade- see that its a short day , short at previous day low , and its a -157 ticks loss , nice move MNQ!
4th trade - back to US open price , short again , now already a negative 240 ticks , so when price show resistance
decide to out at 160 ticks profit , and yet again
5th trade - best trade of the day ! hit up to 198 ticks profit within 10mins, i was so confident that this will hit 240 ticks
profit that i dont even shift my stop loss to breakeven point. Out @ loss -80ticks
6th trade - short , not a good entry hit up to -116 ticks , predetermine loss for this trade is 160 so its still good , out at
159 ticks (note for this trade - should have target at 240 ticks in which profit target is at the new low of the day,
for such a trendy day like this should not have an issue)
1st trade - a preplan short point ,but decide to go long instead so out witha 4 ticks profit
2nd trade - long and out at -80 ticks
3rd trade - long again but now recognise the price is below US open so decide to close a
minimum loss to prepare a short entry. Miss a short entry
4th trade - long at this point as this is a resistance point which i have determine beforehand ,
knew that trend its down and target at 80ticks only.
Summary for the week
Still have no confidence in holding certain obvious winning trades and out with minimal profit
even though its pretty obvious even with a trail stop loss i can gain up to 300 over ticks.
i'm also fond of countertrend trade though have gotten profits over a few times but must know
that during a trend it will be more beneficial to prepare for a trend trade instead of going for counter trend
in the coming week , will use monday and tuesday as a test for taking the RIGHT trades,
RIGHT trades can be loss in this case. if no trading error then i will up my lot size to 2 from wednesday onward.
Just looking at the charts and your entries.....it looks like you are always counter trend trading....I see the price moving up and you are taking a short....and vise versa....its moving down and you make a long......im sure there is more to it...what other logic are you using...to determine to make an entry....I see other lines on the chart as well....sometimes you catch the trend change and get a good entry.....just wondering what logic you are using because i am doing just the opposite with the MNQ......
