Hey guys! I am looking to chart on TradeStation 2 lines within a daily custom session. the first line is custom_session_low+25% custom_range and second line is custom_session_high - 25% custom_range. anyone can help? unfortunately my skills with easylanguage are still limited. my intend with this indicator is to quickly see on the market profile if the session opens and closes with the session extremes or in the center. thanks!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Your request doesn't make sense. The market will open at one of the extremes of the current session. Now after some time has passed, then the current Close will be within your threshhold or outside of the threshhold.
Did you mean to refer to the PRIOR session's range ?
Hey sys wizard. when the session is finished you are able to see if the open and closing where in the middle or on the extreme of the daily range. you can have for example an opening in the center of the daily range and closing too so this would be a neutral center day or you could have an opening in the low extreme of the daily range and closing on the upper extreme and this would be a buying day (like trend day). when analysing the day at the end of the session I would like to see these lines that would help me to visually understand where the opening and closing were. hope now Is more clear!
