Hi Mike,
Thank you for the warm welcome. I recently joined after studying with Axia, Jigsaw, and No BS, and I’m now focusing on developing my Order Flow and DOM skills.
I’m still early in the process, so it may take me a bit of time to participate more actively, but I’m excited to learn and grow here.
Thanks again for building such a supportive community.

Hello everyone,

I started trading stock late 90's intraday and swing with mitigated success. Options with success mid 2005ish, Futures 2007 with big bear hit 2008. Volatility since 2020ish with the xtreme learning curves :/ Ukraine war and Trump's Tariffs !:O

What i do mostly is spreads on DAX, Vanilla on a short list of stocks and edge Volatility Futures. No forex, No cryptos, No Metals.

Been using MC since 2006ish. I am intermediate on "showme" coding, and newbee on signals. So Learning about signals coding is my primary / initial interest in this group.

Thank you for your inputs.

Hi everyone!

Yes indeed i blew up a few accounts, however i started trading as a result of my activity as a commercial "hedger",,, while i was in alaska i exported fish for millions and had to start hedging by buying and selling euro, my customers was all in spain, portugal and norway, they where very late payers and could basically just wait and pay when the eurusd was most favorable to them or at least so they thought, (all had they copied that arrogant colonial attitude even against the US) buy locking the eurusd early in the year i gained back control and if they did not pay i simply cancelled , stored in my own coldstorages in europe and waited as my eurusd was already locked, well if the usd went up i sold in usd, if it went down i sold in eur, in 2007 i made more $ this way than on the product itself,

Since i do have a genuine interest in history, geografi and "charts" the different (i can study charts forever, in bed, on the toilet ring and in the bathtub,,,,,markets really trigged me and it became my obsession, but i did not have much time to really do what i was most interested in, trade and study trading, until in 2024 when i finally sold all my companies and "retired" since then i have really studied trading and concluded that Volume and market Profiles is really the only science which works in this industry, in addition i have studied a lot of W D Gann as well as both astronomy and astrology, for me this combination has worked, i am profitable and i want to learn every second, minute hrs and day........ i am very happy to find this community which i did through via my new best friend "Mrs AI" i gladly paid the elite fee as a support as i am so exited, and i want to support all i can, its jan 1 and i wish everyone a great 2026

hello traders , investors , hedgers and everyone
my story maybe a bit different, i started trading as result of hedging. While i was in Alaska i sold and exported frozen fish a ra material to Portugal, Norway and Spain, the invoices was millions of USD and chartered my own vessels to bring the fish across the ocean. as my clients was all very slow payers, they just paid when it profited and suited them the most, in way of EURUSD levels, at least so they thought.
That old arrogant colonial attitude was all there even against the US of A sooooo i was subject to very volatile EURUSD trading market those day. My banker convinced me to start locking the rates, and so i did, THAT turned the table and instead of selling CNF or FOB i waited, locked my rates and stored in Europe in rented cold storage facilities, So if the Eur went up i sold on locked rates if the USD went up i sold at market,

I got hooked, and in 2007 i made more $$ on hedging currencies than on the raw material/product itself, since i have a born genuine interest in History, Geography and all kind of "Charts", this is my dream hobby, unfortunately i did not have much time to study and trade until 2024 when i sold all my companies and "retried" , now i am home free and i study every day, and i trade weekly, i have concluded that VOLUME AND MARKET PROFILING W MOMENTUM, Is the one of two that works in trading, i try to combine it with my knowledge and studies in W D Gann, Astronomy and Astrology, and that works for me, finally i am profitable,

I was very happy to find this community, which i was guided to by my new best friend "Mrs AI" and i gladly paid the elite fee to support such great site, as we are writing 1 jan i want to wish everyone a great 2026.

Respectfully

Kjetil B Solberg

in 2007 i made more $ this way than on the product itself... Volume and market Profiles is really the only science which works in this industry

@kjetil777,

Welcome to NexusFi -- and what a way to start 2026.

That hedging background is gold. Making more from EUR/USD hedging than from the actual fish business tells me you already understand something most retail traders never grasp: the market doesn't care about your opinion, it cares about your positioning. You were solving a real business problem, not chasing pips for the thrill of it. That's the mindset that survives.

Volume Profile and Market Profile -- you've landed on solid ground there. The research on auction market theory consistently shows that understanding where volume clusters and where price gets rejected is more reliable than most indicator-based approaches. You're studying the actual footprint of institutional activity, not some derivative of price.

On W.D. Gann and astrology -- I'll be honest, I'm not sure where I stand on the planetary correlation stuff. The math-based Gann concepts around time and price squaring have their adherents, but I haven't seen research that convinces me on the astrological components. That said, plenty of successful traders use tools I don't fully understand. If it's working for you, document what you're seeing. The data will tell the story over time.

The fact that you sold your companies to do this full-time? That's commitment. Just remember -- trading full-time is a different psychological beast than trading while running a business. The lack of external income can mess with your head in ways you don't expect. Keep your position sizing disciplined.

Glad you found us. Looking forward to seeing you around the forums.

Hi there everybody and thanks for having me here,

my name is Chris. I had some trading experience in the late 90`s and a started getting interested in active trading last November again. I'm from Germany and I am looking for stategies that can be excecuted while working full time.

One of my ideas is trading micro caps in the US marketes with a momentum day trading strategy like Ross Cameron. However, I find it difficult to find the right broker. IBKR feels to slow for this strategy and there is Rule 144 and PDT which would be difficult to handle. The only alternative that comes to my mind is trade zero, which I consider giving a try.

Overall, I'm sceptical whether this is the right strategy to start out with. The reason I choose this strategy is, that I could trade in the main session time at 9.30 until 11 ET and that some stocks have really great momentum in the US markets which we do not have in European stock markets.

Even better would be a strategy that would work 24/7 especially in the evening hours. I spent some time looking at BTCUSDT and reading the orderflow on bookmap and consinder trading break out based on level2 data and resistance levels as well.

I wonder if anyone has an easy (not to technical) strategy for the evening hours. My evening would start at 20.30 GMT.

Thanks alot in advance!

Very best.

Chris
