I have been digging through Sierra, however I have been unable to find anything that reacts quite the same wat to GomDeltaMomentum. I've pretty much re-created everything that I had in Ninja in Sierra (and don't have to pay $$$ for Volume Profile), however this is the last thing I need to recreate.
Any ideas or suggestions for an alternate way to see DeltaMomentum Candle to Candle? Keep in mind, its not just a simple AskV-BidV plotted, if the trend continues it keeps adding the negative Momentum.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
What is the trigger it uses to determine the trend has stopped and to therefore stop cumulative adding the Momentum? I ask because there is an SC Study called Summation - Periodic that allows you to add cumulative the last x bars.
By the way, you should update you profile if you are now using SierraChart as it still shows you using NT. Nice if everyone keeps their profile's current as then members (especially newer ones) get a feel for which trading s/w is most used/favoured.

No problem, I will update it. Still not sure if I am for sure making the switch, but as soon as I do, I will change it. Having a hell of a time to get it all sorted out. The learning curve on sierra is quite steep.
It appears that it accumulates until the candle closes in the opposite direction of the Momentum. Until it does, it keeps adding the Ask-Bidv to the previous candles Ask-Bid. That way you can see Momentum while it is trending.
Unfortunately Nothing quite the same, there's no relation from one bar to the next with the Sierra plugins. Each bar resets and the candle starts over whether or not there is trend continuation. GomDeltaMomentum definitely has a few more pieces going on, taking into account the price action and candle closing- but I'll get by with what Sierra has for now until I can find it. I'm sure I can't be the only one looking for it!
I saw his VP and Volume Bars as part of the Sierra suite (not by the same name) , but not the rest of the bottom indicators AFAIK (DeltaMomentum in particular).
I could be wrong, or maybe I need to do more digging here at FIO but Im still looking for it if anyone has any insight.
